Pilot Programme
Over the last two years we have been working with BP Gas and Alliance and Leicester Commercial Vehicle Finance to help develop the market for our dual-fuel system
Starting earlier this year we have been able to offer independently-assessed pilot programmes for selected fleets. The process involves comparing the fuel data of a conversion group to that of a control group and at the end of a 2-3 month period we have a very accurate picture of what the system has achieved. If the system does not achieve at least a 10% net saving based on cost per mile, then the equipment is removed and the customer pays nothing. If the target is achieved, the customer pays for the pilot vehicles and commmits to do more.
The first of these pilot programmes was completed at the end of April 2008 and the results have been confirmed - a net saving of 12% CLICK HERE to see the report
Since then, other pilots have been completed with similar results. Add this to the wealth of other data we have - from tests carried out at the MiT chassis dynamometer at Leyland confirming savings of 12-14% to countless customers verifying results on their own vehicles - we can think of very few reasons not to adopt this technology.
If your company has a fleet of more than 100 vehicles and you would be interested in finding out more about a possible pilot programme, please contact us asap.
